Privacy and cookie policy

Short version: we don't use cookies, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything about you.

Who we are

This website is run by GW SOLUTIONS Ltd, the data controller for any personal information described here. Contact us at contact@iban.com.

Cookies

This website doesn't set any cookies. It doesn't use analytics, advertising or social media tracking, and doesn't load content from other websites while you browse it.

Server logs

Like almost all websites, our web server automatically records basic technical information about each request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. We use this only to keep the site secure and working, for example to block attacks. Logs are kept for no more than 30 days and then deleted. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website. As a company based in Bulgaria, we process personal data under the EU GDPR, and under UK GDPR for visitors in the UK.

If you email us

We'll use your email address and message only to reply to you about the website. We keep emails for up to 12 months and then delete them. We can't act on reports of scams, so please don't send us details of a case, bank details, passwords or ID documents.

Links to other websites

We link to other organisations' websites. When you follow a link, their own privacy policies apply. Links marked "Our tool" go to IBAN.com and SortCodes.co.uk, which we also run and which have their own privacy policies. Visiting this site doesn't share any information with them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us to make a request. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
